Core Architecture
Three-Role Model
Requestor — Submits AI tasks and locks ECT tokens on-chain as reward. Chooses ZK / TEE / Hybrid proof types for verifiable results.
Worker — Provides GPU/CPU compute power, stakes ECT to qualify for tasks, generates PoRW proofs upon completion to earn rewards.
Attestor — Cross-validates Worker proofs, participates in probabilistic redundancy consensus, maintains network honesty and earns validation rewards.
Three-Stage Settlement
Stage 1: Demand Posting — Requestor calls TaskMarket contract, locks ECT tokens. Tasks enter the public Order Book for distribution.
Stage 2: Task Execution — Worker executes AI tasks, generates PoRW proofs, and submits to Verifier contract for validation.
Stage 3: Settlement — Rewards released automatically upon verification. Treasury repurchases and burns tokens for a deflationary model.
Hybrid Verification
Ethercoin employs ZK+TEE+PoRW three-dimensional verification: zero-knowledge proofs verify computation correctness, trusted execution environments protect data privacy, and probabilistic redundancy consensus raises fraud costs. Each layer complements the others for a multi-tier trust framework.
Tech Stack
End-to-end sovereign architecture: React + TypeScript for the management dashboard, Express + Prisma for the backend API, Ethereum L2 (Optimism) as the settlement layer, Kubernetes + Volcano for AI workload scheduling, and PyTorch / vLLM for inference and training tasks.
